This Costume Has Outraged Twitter Users

Party City is under scrutiny for their "Adult Wall Costume," which is basically a tunic with brick background and the words "The Wall," which resembles the iconic Pink Floyd album of the same name.

It started with a post from Jason Roseberg, a New York activist, who posted this comments on Twitter "If cultural appropriation on Halloween isn't for you, here's a directly racist costume straight from @PartyCity."

Many Twitter users believe that the costumes signifies President Trump's immigration policy and  border wall proposal.  Another user posted this comment “If I see anyone wearing a “The Wall” costume, fair warning, you’re getting punched. Like hard.”

Party City hasn't responded to the controversy.  Their website describes the costume, which retails for $29.99, as follows: Use this Wall Costume for adults to create a unique Halloween look! This tunic has the appearance of a brick wall complete with a red brick pattern and a headline that reads The Wall. Comfortable and versatile, use this adult costume with other accessories to create your very own Halloween costume. Review the size chart for additional sizing information. Shoes, shirt, shorts, watch, and socks not included.
