'Active Shooter' Video Game Invites Players To Simulate School Shooting

Active Shooter Video Game Has Parents Outraged

Sometimes it's tough because you don't want to give a controversial topic too much exposure, but at the same time it's important to educate parents on products being marketed towards our children.

In this case the product is a game called 'Active Shooter' that is labeled as a "S.W.A.T. simulator" game, which claims you can hunt and capture the active shooter and stopping a school shooting.

Alternately you can also become the shooter, which the developer is calling a "dynamic role" where your objective is to kill cops and unarmed children.  The kill tally then keeps track of the civilians and cops killed on the left side of the screen (see below screenshot).

The game is scheduled to launch on June 6th  and will be available for PC only, not gaming consoles.  Many people are trying to get the game banned before it even hits the shelves.
