I am cautiously optimistic when I say that I think our backyard project should be done within a month....fingers crossed!!!! It's been a LONG almost 3 years since we first met with a company to build us a 450 sq ft ADU and a view deck. We thought a year and a half would be a reasonable timeline for the project. It unfortunately didn't turn out that way. But there is light at the end of the tunnel and I think we are almost there. The ADU has been done for a few months now but the view deck and lower deck have been taking a while. They have finally finished building the frame and now they can install the Trex decking. I can't wait to see what the view looks like from on top of the deck! Here is what the project currently looks like.
